I forgot I had a crafty blog! Bad Jen! >_<

Ah well.. I haven't really finished anything.. I think. I started a bunch of different projects.. I've frogged lots of those projects and I'm sure eventually I'll have something finished to show off. I hope!

Right now I've got a star blanket in progress and a simple garter stitch scarf in progress. Almost finished with the scarf.. it's for my friend's b-day so I hope she likes it! :)

Hopefully I'll remember to post again soon! lol ttfn

well..working on some knitting! lol

Lessee... I managed to get my blueish colored shrug done! ^^ And I'm pretty darn pleased with how it came out.

The colr is more true in the first pic... I like this one better than the white one.. the longer sleeves are more my style and seem to be more comfy since they're not diggin in my armpits.. lol

I also decided to join the Minisweater/Boobholder KAL on craftster.. and I haven't gotten very far yet...

I'm using Caron's Simply Soft in white.. on size 8 needles... I dunno if I'm doing ok with it or not! lol I'll have to wait til I get a little farther before I decide.. XDD

And since I seem to have an inability to start only one project and stick with it.. I've also jumped on the bandwagon for the Knit and Tonic Dream Swatch KAL..also found on crafster.

aaand again.. I haven't gotten very far... lol

I'm using TLC baby soft yarn and size 4 needles for this..

hmmm.. I need to stop doing so many things at once! lol I like to jump from project to project.. I don't know why.. XDDD

Isabeau WIP

I found this KAL on crafster for a cute lil Isabeau purse. It looked cute and fairly easy to knit, so I figured I'd try it with some of the Sugar & Cream yarn I have lying around.

I managed to get the main body done while I was *cough* at work *cough* today.. and I think it's coming out ok. I really like the lacey stitch pattern... I kinda want to see if I can use that pattern for a tube top or something... I don't know if I'm up to attempting to figure that out quite just yet though.. XD

Now, if I can just figure out how to pick up stitches properly, I can start on the sides... lol

Knit Shrug... and a WIP

So I figured since I have this thing, I should probably post something, huh? lol

Well I found a cute little shrug pattern on craftster and I figured hey! Why not try it? I'm pretty new to this knitting thing.. and it looked pretty easy to do... so I attempted it using Lion's Brand Jiffy yarn... and this is what I got.

I like the way it came out, but I think I'd want the sleeves to be a bit longer... it's pretty comfy though. I figured maybe I'd try it in a different color..and make longer sleeves. So I started another one using Caron's Simply Soft yarn in a pretty blueish purpley color. And instead of using the 10.5 size needles like the pattern suggests, I used my size 8 needles... and added more stitches when casting on...

I've only been working on it bit by bit for a few days.. hopefully I'll finish it soon and see what it looks like! lol Of course it would probably help if I didn't keep getting distracted by other projects and things...

OMG I have a blog!

Wow.
I've finally jumped into this world of blogging. Couldn't tell ya why it took me so long to get here. But here I am! I have no idea what I want to say here either.. lol But I suppose since I started this thing, I might as well make a post. Yay.

I pretty much plan on using this as a place to show off the crafty things I make.. and to get my thoughts down about them. It'll definitely help me to remember past projects and see where I have and need to improve. :)

So... yeah.. ran out of stuff to type! XDD
Hopefully I'll post a current project up soon!
